As you may have noticed, two of our dumpsters were moved from the upper cul de sac to the lower. This is necessary for increased efficiency and use of resources in trash removal. It was also made at the request of upper area residents who have housed all of the dumpsters for the past several years. No one wants to see dumpsters when they walk out their doors, but unfortunately, it is a necessity and it is only fair to have the dumpsters equally dispersed between the two cul de sacs.
In the past, we have had a problem with illegal dumping of trash and furniture in and around our dumpsters, which resulted in added expense to us all. As such, we are sending out this notice to ask for your cooperation in ensuring your part in maintaining our area by adhering to the NO DUMPING policy of the Association. If you should see someone illegally dumping in or around our dumpsters, please report it to the Office immediately at 610-948-6714 or to the Maintenance Shop at 610-948-6105.
Illegal dumping hurts all of us and will not be tolerated. Consequently, violators will be fined in the amount of $75 for improper disposal of trash per incident to cover the cost incurred by such actions. We have a contract with our trash removal service; anytime there is bulk trash, there is an added fee. Anytime there is trash outside of the dumpster, there is an additional fee. This is why we have a NO DUMPING policy. As always, if you are in need of bulk pick up, please visit our website for details on who to call to arrange for pick-up. This can be arranged easily and is of no cost to you. If you have a larger than normal trash load, please let a message for our Maintenance staff the night before to make them aware. Thursdays are our lighter days, so please prepare for extra trash loads to be picked up on Thursdays.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and attention in this matter.
